HL teams can only carry 1 goalie.
In rep hockey they typically will carry 2 goalies but you should discuss the split with the coach prior to signing with a team.

Someone posted a link about being a better coach in another thread. I've been reading a few articles on this guy's site and there are a few really good ones. Here is a great one I found about goalie psychology and confidence.

Coaches in the GTHL have no idea how to deal with goalies at practise. No clue.

Two goalies. But be careful. The coach will tell you anything and everything you want to hear about the split.
